For decades, the LEFEBVRE GROUP has produced beech-based products that come from forests managed in a responsible manner. We put stringent requirements on ourselves and are audited on a regular basis.

We ensure that sustainable forest practices are in place to balance the social, environmental and economic functions of the forest. 100% of our logs originate from sustainably managed forests.

PEFC

The Lefebvre Group holds the PEFC certification, which attests to the certification of sustainable standards.
This means that we are constantly implementing a chain of custody, ensuring the tracking throughout the whole travel of the wood.
The accreditation of these chains demonstrates that we are adhering to the set of requirements as well as the charter’s conditions for sustainable forest management.

FSC®

FSC® certification seeks to encourage responsible forest management around the world.

Our products can be FSC® certified upon request, which means they are monitored throughout their whole processing, from origin to distribution.

This assures that our products are sourced from well-managed and responsibly exploited resources.

Cette certification vous garantie que nos produits sont issus de forêts françaises et transformés en France.

In fact, our timber is sourced from Normandy forests near the Lefebvre sawmill. Nos usines de seconde transformation se situent en Seine Maritime et dans l’Aisne.
