Lucien Lefebvre, father of current directors Alain and Joël Lefebvre, founded SCIERIE LEFEBVRE to supply the port of Dieppe with fish boxes.

1950

Exportation of the activity is being pursued through various agreements with British furniture producers.

Alain Lefebvre takes over the company following the sudden death of his father, Lucien Lefebvre.

In order to expand the company’s activities, the subsidiary MANUBOIS in secondary wood processing was established.

Following the retirement of its CEO, we took over our largest competitor in France, the DEQUECKER sawmill in Villers-Cotterêts.

Diversification of the LEFEBVRE GROUP with the creation of the company GYPASS, which specializes in garage doors.

NORMAROM, a Romanian plant, is built in the small town of Oravita.

EAWY TRANSPORTS was established to supply shipment for our activities. Later on, the company expanded to provide shipping services for a variety of different businesses.

Establishment of GYPASS in Envermeu (76)

Expansion of a second product range within GYPASS, the production of aluminum gates and fences, with the acquisition of a second production facility in Envermeu.

2012

Creation of a new sawmill specialized in the production of beech wood planks, mostly for export, which will gradually increase the volume from 15 000 m3 to 45 000 m3 in 2015.

2018

Creation of a new sawing line devoted to timber packing.

2020

The DEQUECKER SCIERIE sawmill has been closed.

MANUBOIS’ pre-cuts fabrication workshop was destroyed in a fire.

Reconstruction of the MANUBOIS pre-cuts workshop with a dry wood line optimization utilizing vision and x-rays.

Rresale of NORMAROM to focus on Normandy and develop the major sales site.
