History

1946   Lefebvre Sawmill was created in 1946 to meet Dieppe port’s high demands for wood packaging.   1950   Starting export operations with United Kingdom furniture manufacturers.
 Following the sudden death of Henri Lefebvre, Alain Lefebvre is in charge of the company at only 20 years.   1962   Creation of LEFEBVRE MATERIAUX, wholesaler in building materials and wood products.   1972
1977   Creation of Manubois, specialized subsidiary in second processing wood industry.   1992   Groupe Lefebvre acquires Dequecker sawmill, its main competitor, increasing considerably production capacity.
GROUPE LEFEBVRE diversifies its activities in garage door manufacturing. Creation of GYPASS.   1992   Building of a new sawmill in Romania giving a new international dimension to the groupe.   1998
2000   Creation of EAWY TRANSPORT specialized subsidiary in transport and logistics. (wood products)   2000   Inauguration of new modern premises for GYPASS at Envermeu (Upper-Normandy).

Launch of new range of products for Gypass: Aluminium gates and service door. Investment in a new production site.

  2005   Investment in a new sawmill to raise up production from 15 000 m3 to 45 000 m3 in 2014. (total volume of 120 000 m3/ 3 sawmills)   2012
