Our three sawmills are located in the centre of the main Beech forests in France and Romania:

• The forests of Lyons, Eawy, Brotonne, Eu, Arques supply the Lefebvre Sawmill.
• The forests of Retz, Compiègne, Halatte, Saint-Gobain supply the Dequecker Sawmill.
• The forests of the Caras-Severin department, on the Romanian/Serbian border (65 % of this department is wooded, 80 % of which is Beech wood), supply Normarom. 

95% of our French wood is PEFC eco-certified and so our customers are certain of buying products from sustainably managed forests.

The Lefebvre Group also uses different types of wood, other than Beech: Wild Cherry tree, Ash, Oak, Chestnut and Sycamore (available only in log form). 

Highly qualified staff are responsible for purchasing from both the National Forest Office and private woodland owners.

Our own staff look after all of our forestry activities and, using our own equipment for felling, logging and transport, we guarantee prompt turnaround times for provisioning.

The proximity of several ports and a major highway infrastructure allow us to ensure high quality service at the best price.
