Grading rules

In order to ensure the standardisation of wood, the three Group Lefebvre sawmills all use the same grading rules.
The Lefebvre, Dequecker and Normarom sawmills only produce selected planks, allowing a more accurate classification. We offer 6 grades (run mouse over your choice) :

Red heart : excluded Knots : excluded on 90% of the boards						Red heart : slight trace accepted on 10% of the boards Knots : excluded on 80% of the boards
Minimum width 15 cm / average width 30 cm straight cracks allowed, 20% maximum of the total length of the board straight grain, slight curving accepted no discoloration
